The programme is conceived as a long-term endeavour whose impact depends on sustained engagement with locality, civil society and the subsequent re-localisation of processes when participants return to their own contexts. Its central contribution is to frame continuity as an institutional rather than merely personal achievement. Methodologically, residential modules, knowledge sharing, cross-pollination and repeated public engagement form a cumulative architecture in which individual events are valuable because they enter a longer trajectory. The wider bridge is to institutional pedagogy and social practice: an organisation becomes a learning environment by maintaining relationships across time rather than by accumulating disconnected events. Continuity therefore appears as a mode of governance and memory.
