Anto Lloveras is a Spanish architect, theorist and founder of LAPIEZA-LAB. His work connects architecture, philosophy, epistemology, urbanism and conceptual art through Socioplastics, a transdisciplinary field that treats cultural production as an operative infrastructure of knowledge. Projects such as The 5th City and Fragile Urban Anatomies approach the city as a living epistemic organism, capable of being read, repaired and transformed. Across writing, exhibitions, films and spatial practice, Lloveras develops a theory of relational form in which concepts, materials and institutions acquire meaning through their interactions. His research combines critical urbanism, ecological humanities, systems thinking and radical pedagogy. His practice positions architecture as a method for producing knowledge, not merely buildings.
