CONCEPT

YouTube Breakfast is an open, rhizomatic classroom. Each video becomes a node in a decentralized network of knowledge, spanning art, architecture, philosophy, and science. Without themes or predefined structure, the course evolves through intuition and curiosity, using video as a tool to explore new ideas and perspectives. Learning unfolds non-linearly, disrupting traditional pedagogies by replacing scripted teaching with personal exploration. The goal is not to explain, but to connect—inviting each participant to build their own path through shared content.

FORM

Methodologically, the project does not focus on creating thematic playlists across multiple fields but on sharing the most intriguing aspects of art, architecture, philosophy, and science, which expand as new participants add their contributions. The course has no script or predefined structure: instead, it is built from the intuition of the sharer, who uses the voices and visions of others to narrate ideas, thus generating a transdisciplinary space that moves between the personal and the collective. The project is based on the idea of teaching as disruption.“Not teaching” as a means of teaching, where no imposed guide exists. Instead, there is a network of connections that allows knowledge to unfold rhizomatically, challenging traditional pedagogical structures. By trusting in the voice of the videos and the knowledge already available within them, "YouTube Breakfast" proposes that it is not necessary to transcribe or transform what is already there but rather to open paths for each participant to create their own journey of exploration and learning.
